Gail Owens is one of the 2 women on death row in Tennessee. Supposedly positively recovering from prior convictions for embezzlement and fraud in the late 1970's, she contracted the violent murder of her husband in the mid 1980's in Memphis, TN. Interesting perspective given that she and her husband were thought to be pillars of society, church-going folks with 2 sons. Knew her personally through cousins living in Memphis. Sure highlights how you can just about be born "evil."
