On July 6, 2006, Gaylord Genaw of Greenwood Twp., Mi. was killed in a suspicious accident. It was ruled a personal injury accident and the Detective closed the report after two hours of investigating. 3 days prior, he was divorced. Cindy Genaw(Dingman) his ex-wife was the last one to see him alive. She has changed her story numerous times as to what led up to the accident. It was dark, and he had been drinking that day, he had a BAC of 208 mg/dl. plus he took prescription valium, that was found in his tox. report. He had also been in a serious accident about 20 years ago that left him ith back, neck,leg problems and required a caretaker. Cindy claims that th night he died, he wanted to go for a ride. They drove from Babcock rode, through Comstock Hills. She claims he was driving erractically. (this is about 8-10 miles from his home), coming upon Duce Rd. She yells turn left, turn left. He turns down Duce-a gravel Rd. part way down the road, she says 'let me out, i don't want to die'. So he let's her out, one mile later, his car veers into a soybean field and he is dead.

4 months prior to Gaylord's death, Cindy left him for her boyfriend in Ohio. 2 months prior to his death, she calls to check on his life insurance policy, which she later collected fraudently. During the divorce, Gaylord was awarded everything and her settlement was $1.00. She also could not collect any benefits from, through or because of him. She agreed to this and did not contest the divorce, however, during the divorce hearing, she stated she wanted the house. The divorce decree was signed that day, with the house to be settled at a later date.

Anyway, she wanted to go down Duce, because her brother, Glen Dingman lives there. Gaylord died a quarter mile from his house. When she supposedly got out of the car, she made 2 cell phone calls-one to her friend Irene in Ohio, the other to her son-Jason in Alaska. She claims she seen the taillights veer off, but she never called 911. She called Gaylord's nephew "Dino" a few minutes before 911 (called by Glen's neighbor) received the call and said Gaylord was in an accident. She also claims her son, Jason heard his dad die. No one from the fire dept., rescue squad, or yale cop saw her anywhere on the road, that night, as sh claimed she walked a mile from where she exited the car to the scene. Many of these rescue workers would have to have passed her, but no one saw her, they even used a thermal camera to pick up body heat and did not detect her. However 2 teenage boys witnessed her exiting her brother's truck at the corner of Duce andNorman Rd. She also called her youngest son, 5 minutes before he was pronounced dead and 20 minutes before she was supposed to have arrived at he scene to tell him his dad was dead. All though he had a 1998 cadillac, with 4 airbags that deployed, there was no airbag dust on him, no glass (from being ejected, though all windows were up) and every bone in his body was broke. 2. there was no blood in his car, though his injuries were so extensive that he bled out in an estimated 7 seconds.
3. there was no glass in my his cuts.
4. all the glass breakage from every window was well beyond the point he was supposed to be ejected. all the windows were rolled up at the time and the air conditioner was on.
5. the electric seat in his car was adjusted way too close to the steering wheel for his, who had a bad back, to fit behind.
6. a medical examiner and a internal medicine specialist both told my family that his injuries were not consistent with the roll over.
7. his ex-wife illegally collected a life insurance policy for one hundred eleven thousand dollars after his death. though she knew that the policy was supposed to go to his children, as she was told in the divorce 3 days earlier that she was no longer entitled to any such benefits.
8. there are eye witnesses who stated they saw his ex-wife arrive on the accident scene in a white pick-up truck, when she claims she walked down the road and arrived on the scene.
9. again, his ex claims she was dropped off moments before the crash and was walking down the road, though several emergency vehicles passed her, including a police officer, but nobody seen her anywhere on the road or in the ditch. one of the firemen who would have driven by her had she been on the road even stated that he would have seen her for sure, as he is constantly scanning the roads and ditches for deer. also, in Gaylord's ex's own statement she says she didn't see a police officer pass her, yet one should have, and he also did not see her.

she was contacting realitors to sell the house and did put it on the market. also she went to court to settle the house and her or her lawyer never told the judge he was dead the estate lawyer had to show the judge a copy of the death certificate and he moved the house to probate court but she did have it on the market

she collected 111thousand dallor life insurance policy on him knowing they were divorced and she had no right to it. that took me until jan 07 to find

she claims he let her out of the car and traveled down the road and the car crashed but nobody seen her on the road walking check the reports

several witnesses seen a woman and a man in a white truck pull up at the cross road and get out. she and her brother both own white pickups also she walked up to the crash site and fall to the ground thats in her own statements that she fell to the ground

she has told many people that she 1. he let her out of the car 2. that he forced her out by gunpoint 3 thatshe had to pee and he let her out 4 that he slowed down and she jumped out of the car 5 that he stopped and told her to get out b---h and she got out 6 that she told him she didnt want to die and he let her out and told her she had to stay here for the kids

at the funeral she tells people that gaylord was a drunk and addicted to perscription drugs and she couldnt take it anymore and had to leave. all the while taking the emvlopes from them but she never paid for the funeral or even a flower for it. she told them she had to pay for it and then she just kept the money

she was paid for taking care of my uncle for he was disabled and the insurance payed for a care giver when she left him she changed his mailing address to hers in ohio so he would never get the mail ? in my opinion to keep collecting the care money maybe

the day she left him she spoke to me and told me and said her love truned to hate and she wished god would take him in his sleep
