This money will probably be this poor girls downfall and demise. I am very surprised that she chosen.
I did not think she truly met her epiphany while she was in the last episode. I did not see her reach that hard core realization that she was not in love with the poor old man she was 'engaged' to - he was just one of her FOUR sugar daddies that gave her a ring. I thought that her story was extremely sad. However, the story is so typical! It is the story of most girls in the sex industries, dancing, escorting, porn, or just out to sucker men - shallow, empty, lonely and usually for survival. Yet, the survival gets masked with a facade that they like what they are doing and they tell themselves life is good because the money is..
However, I do not believe she really met with that reality on the last episode. She still sugar coated the fact that she was a glorified hoe. I feel for the girl, I know the road she is headed down.
When her 'fiance' came on the show, it was apparent that she did not want this old man by her side on national television. It was obvious in her BODY LANGUAGE! If my fiance that I haven't seen n a while showed up, I would greet him with a big kiss and a HUG!! That 'ENGAGEMENT' was part of the game o get the man to shell over some money and security in a world that is scary when you have no means or skills to support yourself. But, because of the sad life of relying on him financially she grinned and bared it. I will be extremely surprised if that man is not kicked to the curb now that she is a winner. That poor girl looked like she has had a rougher drag in life (2nd Anna) than the other girls on the show. My heart goes out to her and I hope she spends her winnings on securing a better future for herself, rather than BOOBS that will secure a future around a pole or in porn.
On the note of Sara R.;- I did see a genuine change, although, I did think she was a little slow (was it just that weird accent or something?? or just me?) However, I thought that her making amends with her mother after 3 years was monumental.. and sincere.
Katie on the other hand also showed more change in reality than Ms.C, but you can never tell with her.
I am sort of shocked by the whole show.. I am also wondering if the other girls did walk away with some sort of compensation for their time on the show.
