That said, should a woman be forced to keep and raise a child she didn't want? I don't think I would want to keep a Down's Syndrome child either. It sounds selfish, but let's be realistic. Even with all her limitations, this kid had to sense that her mother didn't love or want her. Lisa Whedbee should have been allowed to put the child up for adoption; it would have been been better to all involved.

I agree with you that Lisa Whedbee is a very selfish woman. But I disagree with you on putting this child up for adoption. The last time I looked it took two people to make a baby. You mention a woman shouldn't have to keep a child she doesn't want. But this child belongs to the father just as much to the mother, and he loved his daughter. Why should he have to give up his daughter he loves because her mother is an evil witch who couldn't handle the fact that she gave birth to a less than perfect child. Karma is a bitch, and one day Lisa Whedbee is going to pay for this way she treated her husband and her children.
