Tori, what's w/the fur jacket & hoodie you're wearing in Vancouver??? I thought you were an animal lover! dry.gif Or is it that you only love animals that you can have for pets and don't give a second thought about how they get that animal fur off the animals and onto your o-so-chic jacket/hoodie??? Perhaps you should take a minute and recognize and acknowledge that these poor animals suffer greatly from your selfish need to be fashionable!!! I'm just saying! angry.gif

Are you certain it's genuine fur? I for one would not wear fur but there are some very realistic faux furs out there.. They are pretty expensive for the best ones but I have seen some that you would swear were "genuine" fur..
I don't know what she's wearing but it's a thought..

Some of the faux furs out there looks amazingly true to form so that you can not even tell the difference. I see no reason to wear fur when the faux stuff looks just as good if not better. We don't need to kill baby seals and foxes to keep warm anymore, I mean seriously, it's 2009, no 45 b.c.

Dennis Basso, Ralph Lauren and so on make gorgeous faux fur collections and to me they looks much nicer and wear better than real fur.

I just bought a new winter coat. I thought it was shearling, but it's sheared mink.

Are you serious?? Genuine mink?? Ahh too bad.. Dang that must have been expensive! I wear sheep skin myself in boots & stuff but they don't kill the sheep to shear them..

Yes, I wanted shearling, but this coat caught my eye and like I said, I thought it was shearling. When I heard what it was, though, I still wanted it.

Negotiated the price down. Sale price was $4,000... got it for less, though.

WoWWie! You go girl! If I remember correctly the most I ever paid for a coat was $900. for a Kenneth Cole Leather Blazer but that was a long time ago.. I still have it though and it will always be "in style" so it was a good investment- at the time anyway..

OK, my whole point to my post was that wearing real fur is obnoxious and self-absorbed. And so what do you guys talk about? You talk about the leather and shearling coats you bought!!! And when you're talking about sheep skin coats, boots, etc., you MUST REALIZE that to get the sheep's skin.......THEY HAVE TO KILL THE SHEEP!!!! Same thing w/leather - no matter if it's lamb, cow, goat,......THEY HAVE TO KILL THE ANIMAL TO GET THE SKIN!!! HELLO!!!
