My name is Sherron Lankester, I am one of the mothers of the three men missing. His Name is Stephen M. Lankester/cox. He left my home to get a check cashed, He never made it there. The check was never cashed! That was on Nov.18,2004.
Clyde Daniel Stewart went missing in March,2005. He had called the county where my son disappered and told them he had information about my son and also had a cell phone with pictures of him being beated and killed but before he could get there he went missing.
In Feb.2005 another man went missing. His name is Robert Ashworth. He was seen running from the house where my son was killed the day police came with a search warrent. The police told his mother he was alive and his case is closed. She tryed several times to get his file using the open records act, but they refused to give it to her. A friend of mine went to the attorney generals office and told them about the refusal, anyway after a call from him to Bartow County Georgia Sheriff's she was able to get it. It was only a page and a half long. In it they said" Robert was alive but did not want to see his family". This man has four kid's and a mother and grandmother who he loved dearly. They also said he had been stopped in another county in Georgia. We did a open record request for that and there was never one made.
In June of 2005 my daughter went to the police to tell them what she had found out about the three boy's. She told then that the capitan of the drug task force was involved also his father who was a GBI special agent. They told her she was crazy and to get out of thier office and stop spreading lies about them. On June,22.2005 my daughter was arrested for kidnapping and is now doing 10 years in prison.
A few weeks later the GBI agent was arrested for trafficing guns and sent to Federal Prison. One year later the captian was arrested for stealing $80,000.00 from the sheriffs office and was sent to Federal Prison. These county sheriff's office is part of the GOOD OLE BOY's. We have tryed to get an attorney to file a civil suit against them but we have not found one that will take the case once they do some checking that call back and tell us they do not want to get involved.
I forgot to tell you that the remains of the three have never been found. We know our son's they would not just leave and never come back. I was very very close to my son. He never let me worry about him and always called if he was not coming home.
In my heart I know the other two boys were involved with my son's murder.or maybe seen something they were not suppose to see. I think my son was killed because maybe he walked in on something big and they got rid of him and after Daniel called the police they had to get rid of him and Robert.
Any way I know all of this sounds crazy and reads like a novel but every thing I have said can be proven.
