I myself feel the half hour episodes were better than the new 1 hour episodes, the new episodes at times feels like they explain irrelevant stuff just to fill up the time frame, what is your take on these new hour long episodes?

I like them better. I was just watching the marathon.....

I like the hour long episodes. What I DON'T like is the new night. Snapped ran on Sunday evenings for years and that was the best spot for it. I miss the show EVERY week now because it interferes with my school schedule and I have to hope and pray that it will air again on Saturday mornings or afternoon (which half the time doesn't work well in my schedule either). If the episodes repeated more during the hours of 7pm - 10pm during the week, I would be able to see them. Currently, they air at such late hours or the middle of the day when people are at work which makes it impossible for me to see them.

I know a lot of people are big fans of the show, but believe me, I have seen EVERY episode of Snapped at least 15 times. So I am truly a big fan of the show. I have not been able to see the Susan Grund and Lisa Costello episodes yet. The ONLY reason I saw the Jocelyn Dooley episode last week was because I left class early because I didn't want to miss ANOTHER episode of the show. I never missed an episode on Sunday evening because that's the one time I was home.

Sorry about the rant, but I just had to get that out.

I love the hour long episodes and the thirty minute episodes. The quality of the production hasn't changed and is still top rate. So as long as I get to see the show, I'm happy. Now if they could only get every episode from each season onto DVD season by season.

My husband hates when I watch this show and I don't think he'll be too happy to learn they're an hour long now, lol.

Agree. I love they way they get to the point. Plus, I can watch two episodes back to back. One hour is too long. Less commericals!

My fiancee hates when I watch snapped as well. It's ashamed that he thinks that when women watch snapped, IT means something! LOL--

Do you have DVR? It usually comes via your cable provider. I tape each show, so I do not miss any of them. Although, I must say the Lisa Costello is one of the best episodes! I was shocked!!!!

Puh-leease no more changes. I also loved the Sunday slot...(boo-hoo)!

I preferred the half hour episodes myself. I agree with whomever said the hour long ones go into detail about unnecessary facts just to take up time... I am a HUGE fan of the show. Have seen every episode at least 10 times! Keep em coming!

I personally like both the half hour and hour episodes. I, like most everyone else I've read replies from, have seen 'em all and watch the repeats. If this show ever ends, I'll be crushed. I am very fond of the current narrator, Sharon Martin, as well. I think she's the best narrator the show's had so far. I notice she is also the Post Producer. Does this mean she'll be with us indefinitely? I hope so. Back to the topic, love the show both lengths of time. Keep em coming!

I really enjoyed the hour long episode last night about the couple from Memphis, she worked in the jail and he was a police officer. The hour long gave more information about the background in the relationship and also more interviews with freinds/relatives. I can't believe that a jury only gave her probation, of which she violated!! This woman clearly got off with cold blooded murder but they believed her story even though the forensics showed he was shot 6 times in the back, while on the ground.

It's an adjustment...seemed like alot of "filler" information, but I could get used to it. I had to laugh at some of the other comments....my husband hates when I watch this show and Forensic Files, etc. - he thinks I am getting "pointers" - LOL!!!!!!!

Hi......I am a huge Snapped fan from way back. I DVR all of them and even rewatch the ones I find the most interesting (quite frankly, I think they are all terrific-some more than others ) but I do not recall an hour long episode of Snapped. I can't imagine how I missed it! In fact, just last night I watched a Snapped maraton that I had DVRed. Can someone tell me the content of the hour long episode? I also LOVE Captured! Oxygen is really gaining momentum in the cable tv field! Thanks.....Jeanne

I love the hour long episodes. I've even got my hubby watching. He tells me that I'm just doing research on what not to do so when I kill him I wont get caught lol

I just love the new hour long episodes, they give much more information than the half hour ones did and it kinda feels like a movie when I watch it--I'm on the edge of my seat till the very last second!!

What do I think of the hour-long episodes? I LOVE THEM! I was real happy when they made the episodes longer. To me, a half hour was not long enough.

I like them A LOT better than half-hour episodes. Much more interesting.

I guess it won't matter if I watch this or not since I'm a guy and I don't play the straight way...LOL.

So therefore, a woman can't kill me since I won't date any.

But anyways, this show IS addictive and hour long is a lot better. Michelle Michael's case was SO much more interesting this time around.

I enjoy the hour long episodes. The information regarding what made these women "snapped" is interesting.

I like both. If it's about some ugly chic, they can be a half an hour. If it's about a hottie, it can be an hour long. If it's about some real dumbass like Amy DeChant, I like an hour episode so I can make fun of her longer.
