I think this show is fantastic and a wonderful idea. I totally wish they didn't kick people off the show though. It's all about being healthy right? So why kick them off when they're just beginning to learn to be healthy? Let them stay on the whole time and continue to lose weight and eat right. That way everyone is a winner. That's the only thing that bothers me about this show. Maybe next season they'll change that. Then this show would be perfect.

The concept of using the national spotlight by helping people utilize dance to get in shape is something to be commended. Providing the professional trainers and nutritionist for this group of people is also to be commended. However, I find it alarming that as the show segues to commercials about beauty products and fast food restaurants, that the true intention of the show seems to be shining through; money. The Oxygen channel and the producers of the show could have done a much better job finding appropriate venues to truly support the cause.
Lastly, what message does it send to the contestants and folks watching that you bring 12 people together and elminate 1 each week? Wouldn't a better concept be to have an on-going contest over a pre-determined amount of weeks with no one leaving the show each week be a better fit of helping the contestants realize goals and by changing the way overweight people are seen?
Bottom line: Concept: Great - Execution: Lacking!
