Okay, I waited for this show to air and have watched it a couple times.
I really like it! It takes tremendous courage and will power for these people
to get up in front of the world and make an effort to improve their lives for the positive.
I think they have a great motivator, $$$$$$ and also are getting some constructive and much needed feedback from well qualified judges.
I'm so proud of these people for making that effort as they are building their self esteem and working towards goals to improve their lives..
And... Could Danny Teeson be any cuter than he is? Just the look on his face while watching the Stripper Pole episode.. And when he said, he felt they were in for some very uncomfortable moments with that episode just cracked me up..
Something about him that is really cool and I have become a fan just with his participation in this.
I read about him and his endeavors and oh what a cool guy.. KUDOS Danny!!

Cute as a button He definately seems to be the most fair which is why I think the dancers take his advice seriously. He doesn't give high numbers lightly and I like that. I know it (or seemed to) pain him a bit to see Brandon leave --- I hope there is follow up as Brandon seemed to be very bummed out. Hated to see him go but you can stay in the bottom two just so long. Pink needs to watch it --- even though I love her dancing and she seems a bit favored be a couple of the judges she won't win if she continues to stay at the bottom of the weight loss. Geez love this show and hope they will do another season. Aus

I, too, have to give a shout-out to Danny, although I also like Lisa's observations.

He is fair, precise in critique that are improvements to follow.

I don't think Pinky's scores have been unfair, given her talent, but I do agree that she needs to lose more weight. Curious how she can do that given the already low cal diet and increased activity. Maybe having been very active before translates to slower loss.

I also like like Danny showing independence when he feels justified, like support for Mara.

Pinky's probably been dieting before this. It's not like the others, she's been determined to be a dancer. She probably plateaued. Now she needs to work harder. Also, depending on her body type, she's probably converting the fat into muscle. So she's not losing weight. She's losing fat and replacing it with muscle.

I know what you mean! Society is geared towards the little number on the scale and NOT factoring in that muscle weighs more than fat; you can be very fit but not weigh what the charts say you should weigh because you're more muscular than average.

Plus, face it, men always lose so easily and don't have water weight gain every month. It's not fair to have men competing against women on this or they should factor in the differences when examing the weight loss issue.

I saw the preview where he gives someone a "10" and can't believe it. I can hardly wait to see the episode.

Danny Teeson is one of the reasons I watch this show! He is SO cute and his comments are right on the mark for the most part. I don't think he plays favorites like some of the other judges, and if he does, he doesn't do it as obviously as the others. Keep up the good work Danny!! And keep being so cute....

What impresses me the most with Danny is the fineness of his mind. I think he has a very deep insight and ability to see the picture as a whole and yet grasp the very essence of it. I believe such a somewhat cold (doesn’t mean indifferent though) analytical mind with a hint of Oscar Wilde as his is mostly a male attribute. No offense, ladies, I'm a girl myself and I wish my emotions wouldn't go ahead of me sometimes . Danny is definitely one of the reasons to watch this show.

There was an episode where I think Mara got downgraded by the female judges for showing spirit and disagreeing with her partner. The female judges were going on and on about how the man is in control on the dance floor and women need to meekly submit but Danny praised her for showing spirit and gave her good points. I liked that, he doesn't buy into the dominance/dance thing about men being in control and he can appreciate a strong-minded woman.

That said, I wonder why he ever gives Alicia anything over a 5... She's awful.
