I can't believe people are complaining about the use of the word a** when there is SOOOO much more to complain about this. I just laughed through the first and only episode that I will watch, though when the first custard-guts was all excited to dance and getting excited was hilarious, as was the patronising tone the judges took.

a combo of dancing with the stars (minus the stars) and the biggest loser, i was sure this show was going to be a hit...boy was i wrong. lol

It's a double edged sword. While it would seem more flattering to cover up the problem areas, it also serves as a visual to actually see said problem areas disappear. I think that's what they're trying to set up as well. A "before" and "after" kind of thing.

They needed to add a bit of masterchef as well. That would have made it perfect.

A slightly less demeaning show would be to have one of these tubbies on a spinning knife throwing board (assuming you can get it to spin) and then have models throw fast food at them for 2 weeks straight, see if they lose or gain weight.
