I know Tori has mixed feelings on her mom and her kids. People not on TV have the same problems, unfortunately we had this issue 24 years ago. We were stationed with the Army and my husband was getting out. He wanted to have a relationship with his father. He had left home when he was 14. There were 8 kids and he really wasn't missed. Well we ended up getting a phone call asking my husband if he could move up there and help putting a house together for his parents. It was total hell. When we got our place they would come over do their laundry and take showers until the youngest sister moved close by. Then we hardly ever saw them. We were never invited to family function and they would promise my 2 kids that they could come to their house for the weekend, then when the weekend came they told my children No! If we invited them over for special occaisions they were late. When I became pregnant with my third child, one of his sisters became pregnant. 4 months after I had my last child, they made allegations and had our children removed from our home. His father, little brother and 2 of his sisters stayed out of it. The others surround and attacked us like sharks. We fought so hard to get them back and no matter what we did, nothing worked. We had people who were closer to us than his family and they were threatened if they said anything in our favor, they would lose their children who were teenagers. We now have a relation with one of our chiildren
21years later. It has been a painful journey for us. If your mom hurts you again, then forget about her and enjoy Dean, your children and the people who actually care about you. Believe me it isn't worth the heartache. My one child has realized all these years he was lied to. I have seen many disfunctional families who are just not good. Don't go through with alot of heartache you don't need. Be happpy.
