Full Version: To Being Genuine.....
Oxygen Boards > TV Shows > Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood
Rakkers
Hello, Tori...

I am home today...something out of the ordinary for a weekday as I am not well. This is enabling me to watch a bit more TV than usual. I am a huge fan of yours, of your show so here I am, up in bed, watching a Tori and Dean marathon. hahaa....

Anyhoo.....I watch you with such awe. It is not only that I am such a fan of the show, or a fan of your talent....it is more than that. It is that I am a fan of who you are as a person.

I gear towards people who I find to be "genuine". These are the types of people I surround myself with in my life. That is probably why I gravitate towards you and your show. Even with it being a show and my not knowing you.....I know that it is not TV editing.....I know and can tell that you are indeed a genuine person. You cannot fake something like that.

I jumped on here to tell you that I really admire you. I am a mother of two children, one boy, one girl. I work full time at a very demanding job. So I am a busy woman as well. When I am home though and I watch your show....I watch you and I really admire you, for the parent you are....for how you are with your children. I grew up of course, being a fan of 90210, hahaa....my son's name is Dylan, hahaa.....but also, I had some very "hard" to say the least, family issues as well. I think in those situations you can either succumb to them or you can learn and grow from them. And you most definitely learned and grew from them. And gosh......I feel like I am like you though in that I always keep my heart open. I am that kind of person that will always and forever have hope.

You are an inspiriation though and I admire you. You try hard and accomplish it, being a better parent, being a good mother. It is never going to be an issue, your worry about the relationship you will have with your children. Its already there.....its built in to who you are......and all that you have been through.....you have become/are a genuine and beautiful person and a wonderful mother.

I enjoy watching your show, for all the laughs and smiles it gives me and for all the warmth it gives me seeing how you care for your family. It is very endearing. I watch you and pull from you, what its like to be a good mother.

My best friend Michael describes me as an "ool" an "observer of life"......it is funny how this applies as I feel like I learn things when I watch your show. You teach me things about being a good person, about being a good parent. Thank you for all that you are and share with us.

Fondly,

-Kimberly
