Watch their show? Seek out their message board to insult them? Judge decisions they make when they dont know the whole story?

Why bother? there are plenty of reality shows on that i WONT watch and i sure as heck dont waste my time seeking out their message boards to comment on them. I must be strange, because i dont understand why if you dont like someone or something you would waste time talking about it, INSTEAD of spending time on the things you do like?


I really dont get it, i came here thinking that i would find fans, and i have found some, but i have also found some people who dont like them and i cant imagine why they would waste time to sign up to talk about something they dont like?

I couldn't agree more. I really don't understand the people on here bashing Tori and Dean. If you don't like what they stand for why do you waste time griping about them on a message board. I don't know about anybody else but I have better things to do with my time. I'm on here because I like them. I actually just started watching the show and I've read both of Tori's books. Her mother hasn't shown me anything that would suggest she has any redeeming qualities. The only reason Tori turned out halfway decent is because she was raised by Nanny and not her mother. I really feel sorry for Candy because she has chosen time and again to alienate her daughter. Tori is the one who keeps reaching out to her mother and Candy does nothing to appreciate that. She could have gone on the show and asked them to blur her picture or she could have asked Tori to have some alone time with her grandchildren instead of doing it on camera. But she didn't. She wants Tori to do all the work and she just sits back and watches the backlash on Tori. Maybe we don't know these people just by watching them on TV but she certainly has a lot of friends who care about her which is more than I can say for a lot of people. They can't all be crazy or a bad judge of character. Especially Mehran and Jenny. They've been with her through everything and they still stand by her because I think they know she's doing the best she can with the tools her mother gave her. I'm sorry but my mother wasn't there for me a lot of my childhood and the only reason we have a relationship is because I make the effort every day not to tell her what I really think about how I was raised. My mom thought playing cards with her friends and going to Bingo was more important than spending time with me and my brothers. I only wish I had the guts to tell her that I think she did a sub par job. My mother is a saint compared to the things Candy has done so I really don't have a problem with Tori telling her what she thinks. Tori, I know she's a part of your life but you'll save yourself a ton of anguish when you finally write her off. She doesn't deserve to have you or your kids in her life. If she had made some kind of effort then I could say that she deserves it but she hasn't.

Think you're missing the point that just many of us really like Tori and Deans SHOW, it does NOT mean we like EVERYTHING they do or have done in their past.
People ARE going to comment on those things. Thats part of the purpose of forums to discuss the shows and their stars etc.

The thing is, most people who claim to LOVE Tori and Dean

but just don't like everything they do, are almost always saying

mean rude things and complaining. It makes no sense. No one is

perfect. If you don't like things, well okay, but why bash them for it?

Think about it, do you family members come to your home and then

go tell to a message board and then complain everything that you do

that they disagree with? Of course we watch them on the television

but still, what is the point??

I also came on here excepting to find people that really liked the show and Tori, Dean, Stella, and Liam. What I found was totally different and disappointed me. There are so many "haters" on here which saddens me. I personally really didn't like Tori before the show. I started watching the show and fell in love with the whole family and how "normal" they really are. I think that Tori and Dean both work very hard and have produced beautiful children. I empathize with Tori in regards to her mom and the relationship with her.

I wish Tori, Dean, Stella, and Liam the best and hope life works out great for each of them.

It boggles the mind that people actually believe

Freedom Of Speech means they can say what

they want without regards to others.

The First Amendment guarantees that the GOVERNMENT

cannot infringe on your right of free speech. PERIOD.

A message board has rules and those rules should

be followed. I know this message board has rules.

I know these rules get broken every single day. The

owner of this message board is NOT THE GOVERNMENT.

Whether the owners monitor the behavior on this board

or enforce the rules is about them. If any member of

this board becomes weary of the trashing of Tori and

Dean they can say so as long as they are following the

rules of the message board. I wish the owners did

monitor more because of some of the porn that shows

up in my mail box from this message board. I wish

some of the trashing of Tori and Dean was also stopped

because much of it breaks the rules, personal attacks and

demeaning remarks to those of us who like Tori and Dean

and do not like the trashing. Oh well, maybe Oxygen will

get a clue and hire some monitors who will enforce the

rules. BTW-Oxygen is not the Government.

If you don't like it, ignore the people who have opposing views. I know you know how to do that.

Tori and Dean deserve every comment they get good or bad because they are putting themselves in the public eye.If they were just living quietly that's another story. But they've invited cameras in to document their every move-so they're inviting comments and criticism. That's part of being a celebrity.

I have to agree with you, T&D aren't perfect so ppl will have comments/debates regarding the show. The bashing is unnecessary though, there are decent ways to express an opinion.
I don't really like the way T&D hurt their spouses when they got together but I'm not gonna call her names, only they know all the details of their life. It's just an opinion and that's all.

I don't think it's right how they got together. It could have been handled a different way, but I don't think their bad people at all. Everyone makes mistakes in life.

Funny thing is, I can't "hate" Tori, even though she was a willing participant that first night. Dean strikes me, and not only me, as slimy. I can't help remembering the one line that got through editing, where Tori said to Dean that he only helped her when the cameras were on. I can believe that.

I can see him being good to his children, so maybe that's something in his favor, but I think Tori is going to get a huge wake-up call someday.

As an aside, I think Tori needs to do comedy, she's good at that. That is, if she still wants to act.

I do think she is a natural at comedy from what I have seen. I wish we could see more of that side to her on the show .....

Tori's a horrible actress. Daddy gave her a job before. that's the only reason she acts. She's a mess.

You know, it's easy to 'get it'. Mean people. They care about criticizing someone like Tori, someone like Dean, because of jealousy. Jealousy causes alot of mean things about people to surface. It's easy to be mean on the web. No one knows you, and you're free to unload on people who don't deserve it! Simple!

I love that show, and love the way they parent their children. I never thought I would, but I truly enjoy all the quirkiness about it, and the ups and downs, even if the entire show isn't real. I'm sure there are plenty of producers getting in the way of actuality.

Some people need to get over themselves. Why don't you go right there and show them how to do acting correctly? Why don't you just offer all of your expertise as a producer and director, and straighten that show right out? Yeah, go for it!

Look, Tori and Dean invite all this criticism because they have a show documenting their life. If they were living as private individuals it would be different-but they invite the cameras. If they're going to do that, they better be prepared to hear about it-good and bad.

This is a public message board for a TV show. I think some people forget that.
Bulbous and anyone else has the right to their opinion about Tori and Dean.
You may disagree but don't insult and bash other posters just because you don't agree with how they express themselves .
People watch the show for different reasons.
