Just saw Tori's mom on Regis and Kelly,she said that she did not want to be a punch line on their show. Tori I love your show but I don't know how much longer I can tolerate your using your mom as a story line. She is receptive to meeting without cameras, sooo get on with it or you are going to lose us.

I agree I like Tori very much but have to agree with her mom on what she said on Regis and Kelly today Tori and her mom need to have there first meeting without cameras or Dean just Tori and her mom remember you only haver one mom.

I found Candy to be very thoughtful and genuine in that interview . She really came off to me as a nice person who is just trying to reason with her daughter ....

I agree with you guys. Candy was sincere in her book, no rude punch lines. She was also on TMZ today stating how she feels about the kids being on the show so much.

It sadden me to see a mother and child who have no communication and to add insult to injury is to also let the media separate them even further. Tori has already lost her father, and she needs realize that she has only one irreplaceable mother and that she needs to take the extra step to amend the relationship. The real point is that you can not fix the past it's broken, however, on the upside the present and future lets you work it out. Tori is being a spoiled brat and only thinking about herself. I don't think she even realizes that there is the possibility that she is depriving her children a relationship with their grandmother. Tori it's time to grow up, and let bygone be bygone, and stop thinking about YOU.

that was only Tori's side of the story-reading her Mom's book now to get the other. BTW-her Mom is a hoarder. has a serious problem with it-never gets rid of anything.

I am reading tori's 1st book now .............so far no horrible treatment by Candy

Of course she is going to not sound rude on a talk show...she is saving face. The truth lies in the fact of ...her trying to speak and make amends to Tori and if she really wants to see her grandchildren.

I have kids...the fact is, the clock is ticking, the longer those children do not know Candy, the harder it will be for her to make a connection.

I really hope for the both of them, they can make a TRUE amends, and not one for show. I am sure that is what Tori's dad would have wanted. He seems like he really adored his little girl. And thought of Candy as being a great mom.

To me...when you are a parent, it should ALWAYS lie on you to step up.

That is your child, You should move hell and high water to get to her and your grandchildren. It should be on the grandparents, but the children should be ready to make amends also. I am praying for this relationship.

Have you seen or heard her mom in any interviews ?
I was just curious because Tori's mom always comes acoss as genuine . She is a nice lady , and it shows . She also explains how hard she has tried to see her grandchildren .
As far as their relationship ..at this point Tori said in her newest August interview with OK magazine that she is going to make up with her mom . She also said in the interview that there was never a feud and that it was just the distance and the media that created any problems between them ............(Which doesn't really make sense considering Tori'& Dean's constant putdowns of her mom on the show .....)

But ......... I am with you , and hope this all changes and T will go on to other storylines

TORI~~ Please read the book by Dr. Laura Schlessinger, Bad Childhood ,Good Life. She has such amazing advice and this book was made for you. It will make everthing soooo clear. You don't want to drag your wonderful family down with this PAST drama. If your husband is as wonderful as you say, you owe it to him.

Her mom and her need to meet for coffee just the two of them. They need to talk about everything and come to a common ground! Tori's kids need their grandma and Tori needs her mom! I think Candy is serious about repairing her relationship w/o cameras, although to some extent Candy is a publicity wh0re! What's Tori going to do when her mom is no longer around and Liam or Stella ask about grandma??

Tori's MOTHER is a nut job. Good mothers keep all trash away from their children no matter if their family or Joe blow. your doing the right thing Tori.

I agree with you .... an invitation to Coffee away with just the two of them makes the most sense...

As far as the publicity , Candy had a book to sell , so she was just out promoting it .
