Some of the dresses the women have been wearing are simply gorgeous! Are these one-of-a-kind creations made by costumers for the show, or are they available to purchase for us non-contestants? If they are available, can someone please share the names of the designers, or stores in which we can purchase them?

I know there are lots of negative comments about the show and it's contestants (I've never understood what is so fun about trying to tear other people down), but I want you all to know that you are inspirational to many people who watch you each week. I am not crazy about the focus on specific amount of weight lost per week, but I DO love the fact that the show encourages physical activity, healthful eating, and generally promotes feeling strong and healthy.

Yeah these outfits are a step up from what they had them wearing on the first show. Every time they show a picture of the contestants from the first episode. I always think in my head "they tried to humiliate them".

Agreed! The outfits from the 1st show were a fright and probably chosen to make the Before/After contrast more dramatic. From fat and frumpy to sleek and chic!

But I do love the dresses the gals are wearing now and would buy them if they were available on-line!

I really love Marissa Jaret Winokur's dresses--they show off curves in a flattering and classy way and are well-tailored/well-made.

I've liked some of the costumes on the show better than others; I tend to like the more elegant ones the best
