We all know candy is bad for you...there is absolutely no nutritional value in candy. It comes in all sorts of shapes, sizes, flavors and textures. Sweet and gooey or hard and sour...the bottom line is -its unhealthy. Candy Spelling was well named as she too can come across as sweet and gooey and has no problem being hard and sour. She has created cavities in the hearts and souls of those who trusted and loved her. Some cavities can be repaired, however the fix is just a filling...the empty space filled by something else. As a mother myself, I know we make mistakes. I know there are things that I can and could have done better. Its the part of us that allows us to see our mistakes that makes us better people. We are given one of the greatest gifts -the gift of change. Change really is the only thing that is constant. I have always been intrigued by the genius work by Aaron Spelling. He was a great creator. The most valuable work he ever did however was giving life to his daughter. Watching this beautiful woman now with a family of her own allows us to see that the people who have been fortunate enough to be able to raise the bar and live a life of riches - are just as human as we are. Tori Spelling has created her own place in this world. With her own intelligence and kind, sweet spirit she has a keen sense of humour and is not afraid to love. She loves with her heart and soul and you can see the love between her & Dean. The stories about her weight, Deans so called "friend" who suggested in STAR magazine that the relationship was a farce, the rest of the gossip that would really bother you and I, Tori handles with as much grace as anyone could. From a mother who would not let her play with her dolls, she takes what she had growing up and she gives them a part of her history, making the changes necessary to ensure they are happy and well adjusted. Candyland is some place I choose not to go... even as a kid, I didnt like Candy...I suspect that even as a kid, Tori knew something was wrong with the way her mother showed her love. Instead of following that path...she walks a new one.
