Full Version: ME AND THE MODELING WORLD
I REALLY NEED A CHANCE AT MODELING. I AM 17 YEARS OLD, I HAVE THE LOOK, THE QUALITY, AND POTENTIAL. I DONT HAVE PRIOR EXPERIENCE BUT I STAY IN SOUTH CAROLINA. NOT TOO MANY MODELS ARE WALKING AROUND HERE.

I Think this show is rediculous. This show makes girl/woman and girls who are not skinny feel ungly and disgusted about themselfs. Every girl/woman is beautiful no matter how skinny or how big they are, every girl/woman is beautiful the way they are!
I do not like this show at all. And I think this show should not be aired because of how they talk and treat the ladies that are on the show.

I haven't watched the show but IMO there's alot of pressure in general for women to be a size 2, especially in Hollywood. The modeling world can be brutal but there are guys/gals that will devote their lives to being in that industry. If it's really in your heart to model, then go for it but know you gotta have tough skin out there.
Yes the media industry is hard to keep up with their demands. It sucks eating low calorie food and obsessing over body image. I wanted to do modeling myself but I'm too short at 5'9. So I'm happy with acting hopefully.

I'm just curious on how to get more information about joining the show the next go round, or at least a push in the right direction.
By the way...to you people crying about the fat / skinny BS. This is a modeling page not a place to bitch that you are not happy with your body or weight. I'm sorry this is an industry that's never going to go away it will only keep changing. The best thing you can do is take care of your self or find a way to love your body how it is even if it isn't the "in" thing. You have to look at yourself every day you have to live with yourself every day. So think about it, you are going to be miserable until you can accept that maybe you are chubby, fat, skinny, curvy, flat, who really cares at the end of the day what everyone else says its not worth it. Move on and love you and be happy about it!! Stop punishing people that are blessed and gifted or talented and you are not. Maybe I will go throw rocks at Mister Thomas Kinkade he is a way better artist than I am.....
